It was just a suitable option for a city holiday in Hawes with good price value. I found many places in the hotel to work, which was a nice surprise. Consider bringing your laptop if you need to stay productive.

Room had stunning views and felt clean, with a full-sized ironing board supplied. Outdoor area was lovely for drinks, and the staff remained pleasant and friendly throughout my stay. the dining experience fell short. The atmosphere in the main dining hall lacked energy, especially since I dined alone. The steak I ordered medium-rare arrived well done. Menu options felt limited for someone planning to hike, as they leaned towards fine dining with small portions. It’d be nice to have a heartier bar menu after outdoor activities. My stay was enjoyable overall, but the dining experience could improve significantly.

we spent 2 nights at simonstone hall, and the location was absolutely stunning. the property has gorgeous interiors, especially the games room and study where we could unwind after dinner. the breakfast was amazing, and the bar area, with a lovely pool room, added to the charm. the hot tub looked inviting too, and the roaring fires created such a cozy atmosphere.

Had a fantastic time with my group of friends! The location was stunning, and we even enjoyed some nice walks in the area. The staff were super friendly, and the food was a highlight—dinner was truly amazing! The room was comfortable and clean, making it a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful countryside.
The only downside was that I would have loved a bath in our room, but it seems other rooms had them, so I'd book one next time.

Enchanting, enchanting, enchanting
The whole ambiance is simply enchanting, especially the breathtaking views of rolling hills right from my cozy Double Room. I was captivated by the charming peacocks and chickens wandering freely in the stunning gardens, adding a whimsical touch to the experience. And the food? An explosion of flavors from the locally-inspired dishes made each meal feel like a culinary adventure!

The stunning countryside views from the terrace are unbeatable, especially when enjoyed alongside drinks during a peacock performance. The cozy space of the small double room provided a perfect retreat after exploring nearby circular walks.
The shower pressure was disappointingly weak, which can take the edge off a refreshing experience. I noticed the atmosphere in the dining area felt a bit lacking with so few guests around, and while my steak was nice, it came out medium to well-done instead of the requested rare. I found the mushroom burger overpriced given its simplicity, leaving me wishing for a little more variety in the menu options.
